Sales & Purchasing Freight Carriers

On this screen you will setup your different freight carriers, these carriers are for both sales and purchasing. Each Freight Carrier can have a different G/L account or they can all be the same depending on the advise of your accountant or accounting department. Breaking each freight carrier to a different G/L simplifies reporting as to how much you are spending with each carrier.

If using your own trucks for shipping or if you have divided an area in to fix freight zones. Then add the fixed cost to the freight carrier to save time from typing the amount on each order. There is also a field for freight insurance...
