Tax Authority

Here you will setup the tax authority, this is the entity you will pay your sales taxes.

Master Data>Accounting>Tax Authority

Once on the Tax Authority setup screen click the button labeled new.

Here you will enter the name of the Tax Authority and select the G / L Account for this Tax Authority.

Typical Setup is to enter the Sales Tax Payable G/L account.
